We designed this with the clients to have a functional desk as the main focus with easy access to homework tools for the little ones. Maximum storage space for the rest of the piece, all behind flush soft close doors.

Birch plywood room divider in a contemporary home in Portishead. Designed with the client, the piece creates a private office on one corner and a snug internally. We chose the upright spacings carefully to maintain the open plan feel and left the shelving one side open for this reason. Every detail and joint was meticulously planned and I am super happy with how it came out. With help from the brilliant chippys @measuretomade and @dave_crew and varnished with a UV blocking varnish by George.

10 door media unit which is part 3 of the great project undertaken with @measuretomade and the final post from a stunning home. Having a blank canvas to work with meant we were able to re-wire the electrics into the base units and install dimmable led lights across the piece. The clients bought the tv especially for it which meant we could get the spacings spot on and the proportions of the shelving correct. Talk about a head scratcher… bike box is made using waterproof birch plywood and hung on 100kg runners. Dressing room made up of a vanity unit, six door wardrobe and double sided drawer unit. We maximised the space in this room and managed to get twelve drawers in total leaving the wardrobe free for hanging space. The first is bedroom storage with specially made birch plywood cubby holes to house baskets with a brass hanging rail below the oak worktop. Media / family lifestyle unit… really enjoyable project which we designed with Sharon the client. The piece needed to be multi functional with plenty of storage but also to display their photos, art and bits they’ve collected over the years. We created some deep recesses and some shallow and ran all new electrics for lighting and a soundsystem. One of our favourite jobs this year, Barty and I took this on with the help of Dan from @measuretomade , we renewed the barn doors and frames in these beautiful old outbuildings. As you can imagine each aperture was wonky, twisted and out of level therefore bespoke was the keyword on this one. Black valchromat walk in wardrobe. Quite a tricky job to photograph as we managed to fit so much storage into a fairly small space. We built floor to ceiling wardrobes and drawers with ‘J’ groove handles on the doors. LEDs inside and out make every space accessible even with the dark tones. Small but fun project this one. It is a boiler housing that we designed to match a dresser in the same room and work with the cupboard below. Built using @meditemdf mdf with a bespoke ‘dentil’ cornice around the top. A fiddle to make but worth it in the end. One of our favourite projects to date. We started this bathroom from scratch as it was built into the corner of a huge bedroom. The clients had a strong vision and we worked together to achieve it and create great pieces such as the black valchromat double sink unit.
